Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is a third-person tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris in collaboration with Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Montpellier, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Milan, and Ubisoft Belgrade, and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide on March 7, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, as the tenth installment in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise, and is the first game in the Ghost Recon series to feature an open-world environment.
The game moves away from the futuristic setting introduced in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter[b] and instead features an environment similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Ubisoft described it as one of the biggest open-world games they have published, with the game world including a wide variety of environments such as mountains, forests, deserts, and salt flats.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands received generally mixed to positive reviews from critics. A sequel, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, was released on October 4, 2019.

Wish they didn't kill the online... started it up with my buddy and the next day they added it game pass and removed Live from it. Bought a PS4 and am now playing Breakpoint.

As not so serious of a gamer as when I was younger, I've managed over 350+ hours into ghost war (multiplayer) of this gem of a game. Appreciated the tactical 4v4 approach in this one. Definitely one of my most memorable games in my 42 years on this earth lol Love these react videos by professionals, great job guys!🤘😎🤘

What's your ign? I've been looking for one or two other players to play ghost mode with me and watch my six. The npcs are fun and all but they can be a pain in the ass to control since the command wheel is so clunky. I've been obsessed with this game for about six weeks now. It's gotten me to not even open up mass effect or cyberpunk.

Wildlands was so fun, in the few hundred hours I got in it I managed to 100% ghost mode it and I still had so much fun. Unfortunately on the release it was really buggy so people didnt really play it.

Great video. Always love to see a real world take. I've recently restarted playing this game, and honestly I forgot how much fun it was and how good it looked. I still can't see how they got to Breakpoint from here. Here's hoping Ubisoft pulls their head out of their ass and gives us another great Ghost Recon game...and soon.

This video was a great idea. I love the tips that made it possible to see how many little considerations there are if you are doing something like this. It would be really cool to hear him handle a planning phase for a mission that's open-ended to hear how a SEAL assesses that kind of thing.

This gentleman needs to be offered a contract as a technical advisor by Ubisoft. His input might just be the difference between the next game being a big success or another Breakpoint. I've always believed that the developers have absolutely no idea how firearms work or a clue about military tactics in fact I reckon most would 💩 themselves if they ever came face to face with the real thing.

now let Geoff play Ghost Recon, maybe propose him a mission and based on the environment, type of enemies etc he will have to choose the right equipment and tactics like in real life, that would be really great to see real SEAL put real experience in the game.

The main objective of the game is take down a drug cartel. There are story missions, you can also run around grabbing weapon crates for weapons to use, collect resources for upgrades, collect intel from enemy bases or you can just run around killing enemies.

@@officialSTR1FE Here is the thing.. I dont need to "adjust" my gameplay tactics".. All that he is saying makes a lot of sense on the real world. But not everything applies to gaming. For example, when he said i shouldnt be running in the middle of the airfield.. Sure that makes a ton of sense, why would you do that in RL? You wouldnt. In this game however, it makes complete sense because the snipers cant see past a certain distance so i might as well be dancing on it and still wouldnt get caught. Hope that made sense and have a good one

There is mostly side missions along the road but you don't have do to do it, but you can get skill points and can unlock more spots for skill points

I haven't played Breakpoint so idk if anything I'm about to say is in that game. But I'd love for Ubisoft to up the tactical realism if they ever make a third game. I always thought what you're wearing should affect how likely you are to be spotted based on your environment. For example, wearing a lot of greens in a desert environment would make you easier to spot than if you are in the forest or jungle, or if you're wearing street clothes you might be able to blend in in and urban setting better. Also maybe your weapon can jam or malfunction if you're in adverse weather conditions forcing you to switch guns or clear the jam to continue fighting, just as long as it's not an obnoxious process that slows down gameplay too much.

Too bad Ubisoft had the audacity to put the actual Predator helmet under a paywall for The Predator mission. In it's place you get a cheap dollar store halloween mask as a reward for completing the event. It does have The Predator vision, but still. Which BTW, it ain't for the faint of heart.

The graphics of the game is impressive... Definitely, the suggestions from the expert shows how the gameply should improve... The using of the shades to hide reflections, the high ground positioning, using buildings to reduce the visibility, the distance of the sound of silenced rifles, not walking in open visible ground...these should be aspects to consueto for the new FPS games... I loved the considerations about the weapons and the parachute, I like the mechanics of climbing... I hope the new games will be following thus hints otherwise they will be only arcade.

For a game, it was pretty good at giving you that feeling you get when you try to infiltrate a compound (training only, not sf). As Mr. Reeves states, the tactics this player uses, or lack of, would have him likely get killed, but the fault lies with the game mechanics and AI. Players adapt to what they can get away with, and that results in crazy risk-taking that you would not do in real life.

I agree where it's best to do the "real" tactics to have good habits, develop prowess - I think too sometimes the damned nearsightedness and deafness of the NPC's especially in arcade mode - yeah, like I've been using silenced pistol and then I see vids where a guy uses a barely suppressed automatic rifle to score quick kills at range. A couple times that vaulting over sandbags into a crouch somehow works out faster/better than doing the "real" thing - especially on arcade mode the game forgives you mightily if you know to scurry away like a mouse.

What I'm saying is it was probably better to run forward than backwards, back would be vulnerable and you'd be at a disadvantage, forward you're taking advantage of a disadvantage. I'm talking in terms of the game but I'm sure the same idea is applicable to real life.

Still better than Breakpoint in my opinion. Breakpoint has a very boring open world and story line isn't as good as Wildlands. What I do like about Breakpoint is the weapon and gear customization.

You should have him do a reaction of Force in Special Force's gameplay of Ghost Recon. They actually play the way the series is meant to be played. Tactical teamwork with communication. Showing a one person army with no squad and no communication is not a faithful and genuine representation of the franchise, stealth or not.

Guy would hate my loadout with my main weapon being a "silenced" .50 sniper rifle. Need it to take down choppers fast. Unfortunate the he was not shown that its a whole team with the main character. I also use sync shot often. 13:45 That'll work 👻

Cool video and its a grate game i guess players are not all trained soldiers but this game gets harder the more you level up an later on its one shot kill and you die so becomes more realistic so you have to be more stealthy and take your time doing missions

This gameplay is on easy difficulty so kills are easy to make without alerting enemies around.Playing on higher difficulty you have to use better tactics

Nice. Loved this video. Became a subscriber because of it. Would love to see him go at TheDivision1 and games like that. Great help with is ideas and explanations. Even as a AirSoft Player, he gave me many ideas and made me reflect about the way I play. I actually started playing GhostRecon in 2017, left it and went after other games, but now I came back to Platinate the game (even if it is broken, because my savegame is from 2017 and there were too many upgrades since then. Congrats on the video.
