My parents divorced when i was 7 years old and ever since then I've been living with my father. This conversation made me so emotional and joyous at the same time. Growing up with not having my mother around my corner made me suffer a lot, a great part of it is my self care aspect. Never leant to take care of my skin and hair properly, there was no help. I'm 21 now and very unhappy with the state of skin and hair. I'm learning to take care of it and I struggle a lot too. She then says your looking like a bright green flag, her mom still doesnt reply. She tells her nani you have been an actress for a long time. Her nani sarcastically says i still am. How does the phrase you have been an actress for a long time imply jaya no longer is? Seems like mother and daughter resent the popularity of the grandaughter and all the criticism they are getting for the podcast and also act they are being forced to do this podcast as a favour because of the grandaughter's insistence and are acting like reluctant victims who would much rather be doing their own thing and not getting all this flak.

The pyaaz ka tadka is actually correct. In Kerala, they do fry onions and put it in coconut oil. We always had a katori of this oil in our bathrooms and we would massage it on our bodies and hair.
