In my trail running days, used to watch this (recorded on VCR!) as inspiration for my trail and hill running jaunts. An amazing man.

I've watched this many a time especially when I need some motivation and inspiration. Great to hear Joss's appreciation for the natural world at finish mentioning the May blossom and so on. I spoke to him for a while at one of the mountain trials. Not once did he mention himself or his achievements. He just gave encouragement and sound advice. Totally selfless. I have utter respect and admiration for the old guard. Keep moving forward Joss.....

Joss was my inspiration back in the day i was felling. Don't know how many times i watched this. These are painful climbs even on their own. Legend.

I was there on the day he did this. I was, in my mind, a fairly fit 34 year old doing the Buttermere horseshoe as a jog. Having done a few half marathons I thought it would be easy. It wasn't - my running partner kept having to wait for me and we kept coming across people with binoculars looking at the hills. We asked what was happening and they explained Joss is doing his 60 at 60. This meant nothing to us but it sounded so impressive. Years later, through Richard Askwith's book (Feet in the clouds) I understood what an amazing character he was. I recently did my own 60 at 60 but it was 60k just after my 60th birthday including a couple of laps of the Round Sheffield Run. Great fun - but nothing like what Joss managed!

The guys schedule is incredible. Running is in every cell of his being. That was enthralling. Mark

Superb documentary on the great man. I saw him and a small support crew on Helvellyn in July '86 halfway through one of his earlier super-marathons - bare torso and wearing very similar freedom shorts ! Thanks for uploading.

It’s mad to think what Joss could have done with today’s training, nutritional science and gear… he seemed like he never bothered to rest or eat half the time! Madness.
