@@bababoiplayesandreact3246 The original animation (which iirc was split into sections) was released as a flash animation in 2006 (I think that's the correct year - but I can't remember if it was for only the first section or all of them). The sections were later individually converted to video and uploaded onto youtube by the creator, Chakra-X, in 2008 and 2009. There is also a DX version from 2014 on the creator's channel which is basically all the sections put together in HD with some music/sound tweaks. I think the guy who posted this video took the original animated sections and put them together into one video so people could view the whole original animation without hunting down the individual videos (similar to the DX version but without the graphical improvements and sound/music changes).

I was an SMBZ kind of guy, and back in the day, Mario VS Sonic was a serious thing, which is why I'm only watching this for the first time in 2019.
