Since we have one bride per episode now, it would be lovely though if they could at least try on few more options so that we can indulge in beauty of Nazranaa outfits. I would love to see more brides & grooms again getting their matching outfits. Also, I would love to see a bride pick a more modern outfit, like the one shoulder you have that is behind the couch that the family/friends sit on. SUGGESTION: When a bride tries on the first one and everyone thinks it's the one. Tell them that this is one "the one to beat". That way she can experience more. I felt like this poor bride was pushed by her aunt, mom & grandmother. You have to be for the bride and help her see her vision. Cheers!

It's fascinating to observe the cultural differences between the West and India. Western societies tend to prioritize individualism, which is deeply ingrained in their values. In contrast, Indian culture places a strong emphasis on the collective, valuing the group over the individual. Neither approach is inherently right or wrong, but each has its own set of consequences, both positive and negative. From an individualistic standpoint, certain group-oriented practices may seem incomprehensible, yet they offer a strong support system in times of need, emphasizing the importance of collective decision-making. Over the past two centuries, Western culture has exerted significant influence globally, becoming aspirational and gradually spreading to other parts of the world. However, as the West's influence wanes, it prompts us to consider what cultural and social norms will shape our future. It's an intriguing reflection on how cultural dynamics evolve and intersect on a global scale.

I remember seeing one episode with 3 bridesmaids dress shopping together and it was really cool to see different but complimentary styles in different price points. Shia said this is traditional red but it is different with gold and silver..... to me all reds look the same no matter what design or embellishment it has because the red is so bold and strong color that the red just stands out and it becomes just another TRADITIONAL RED dress. Those who work with material all the time, it may appear different but to us who just see them only at weddings can't tell one red from another - maybe bright red and dark red is all we can differentiate. Did they not have another chair to squeeze all four ladies on one couch--- it didn't seem very comfortable for the entourage. 🙂
@incubusk8r11 ай бұрын
"To me all reds look the same no matter what design or embellishment." You might want to consider getting your eyes checked. Seriously, I'm not joking. The number of cones and rods in your eyes determines how many colors you can perceive and differentiate between similar shades. This can be influenced by genetics, trauma, or just sheer luck, leading to variations in the quantity of cones and rods. Interestingly, women tend to have more cones and rods than men, which allows them to distinguish between colours like fuchsia pink and hot pink more easily.

There comes a point where you have to stand up for yourself. If you're old enough to get married you're old enough to choose YOUR wedding outfit. Stop asking everyone what they think, it's your wedding not theirs. Chrissy must not be a good lawyer if she can't back up her client/friend. She's there to help her friend choose the lehenga she wants. She's not there to side with the others. Did Aunt Debbie really have to be so pushy? IMO, sparkles look great in person, in a brightly lit room. But, those sparkles wash out in photos. Embroidery pops in pics, so the best outfits have a mix of both IMO. Other elements that don't photograph well are netting, lace, and super delicate elements. I always tell friends to take pics while you are trying on the outfit (not with a camera phone bc those and inbuilt filters are not on professional cameras) and see if they like it.
