CROCHET ROSE FLOWER and LEAF - Roses, Flowers, and Leaves for a Decoration, Corsage and Bouquet

Learn how to crochet a rose flower and leaf in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make roses and leaves for a decoration, corsage, and a bouquet. This 3D flower looks great made in any type of yarn weight or fiber content. For this pattern I'm using a size G 4 mm crochet hook along with 100% cotton worsted weight yarn.

Again, something that looks so complicated you make so easy to crochet. The finished petals before rolling them look like a crown. Just scrap "mill ends" from my local craft store (that is now out of business). It seems like 100% cotton.

Where can we find mill ends ?

If a yarn manufacturer has leftover yarn that is too small to fit into a full skein of yarn, whatever is left over is called "mill ends." Sometimes if a yarn has a defect, like maybe the color isn't correct, it goes into the "mill ends" pile. Some craft stores that carry yarn also have these "mill ends" available.
