The sponge and glue is genius. I freaking hate glue sticks lol but it's all I have right now. This was made with cardstock right?
@thenoncraftycrafter4 жыл бұрын
Yes, all Cardstock. 🙂

Is there anything that you can do to prevent fading?

Great vid! I may actually make this and put it in a box frame now that I've watched it. Is the item you're using to dab the glue from the grease proof paper a sponge?
@thenoncraftycrafter2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it was a sponge. 🙂

I don't know if this helps, but it looks like a makeup sponge, which you can buy a bulk pack for very cheap at Walmart :)

What weight cardstock did you use? Seem to be having issues with Cricut tearing the intricate design while cutting.
@thenoncraftycrafter3 жыл бұрын
I mainly use American Crafts cardstock and Cricut cardstock. They are both 80 lb Cover Weight/ 216 gsm. Make sure you select the " Cardstock - Intricate cuts" material setting.

Is that a makeup sponge you're using to spread your glue? Genious idea!
@thenoncraftycrafter4 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. Think a thinner glue would have worked better with it though. 🙂

I do not have Facebook. Do you know if the file is somewhere else? Etsy for sale?
@thesandykimchi4 жыл бұрын
It’s in Cricut Design Space. You have to pay for the membership or buy the file. (I personally prefer to buy the file because if you stop paying the DS fee, you no longer “own” the file.)
@surgicaltechcrafter21694 жыл бұрын
@@thesandykimchi thank you. Going to find it.

Thank you for this wonderful pattern I am trying to put it together for my husband Purchased it through Design Space but, watching your You Tube instructions, my bottom 3 pieces are nothing like yours and thus why I think mine looks like a blob lol. Are you aware of this?
@thenoncraftycrafter4 жыл бұрын
Not sure why yours is different. If you haven’t already figured it out I would recommend saving a fresh version of the project to your account.
