Makes sense. The younger Jordan was more of a highlight reel player who threw down some sick dunks right on top of people. The older Jordan could still throw down, but was more of an assassin. Seems fitting that would work that way as far as builds go.

That Prime MJ build has been such a sleeper for the past few 2Ks. Everybody has had a Playshot, but the HoF Slashing/secondary Shooting can literally do everything in the game. It's basically a Slashing Shot Creator - 90+ Post Fade, all contact dunks, decent defense, Pro dribble moves, and stepback/moving 3s. I always like replicating Kobe/MJ with that build, but I've made it 6'5 in the past few 2Ks because the stats are better. I call it a James Harden build because MJ and Kobe weren't 6'5, so it just feels wrong calling it a Kobe build.

I had that build since 2k18 but 2k20 had better stats, got to a 99 and had 88 dunk and 86 mid and 3pt but Im still rocking with this build now and the shooting is easier

Hey Joe, I tweaked around with the Prime Jordan build a little bit, and I got: 82 Driving 79 Mid 77 3 Ball 82 Handles 77 Perimeter 75 Lateral 82 Steal Badges: 18 Finishing 17 Shooting 14 Playmaking 5 Defensive/Rebounding (If you switch some points from finishing into defense you can get the same badge spread as the vid I just prefer another finishing badge) Takeovers: Slasher Shot Creator Playmaker Spot Up Shooter Physicals: Majority Finishing; Small Shooting Pie Chart Speed Pie Chart 83 Speed/Accel 60 Strength 72 Vert 6'3 220 lbs 82.2" Wingspan (You can also raise this if you wish I just prefer the extra 2 Three-Point Shot points. Note that lowering this anymore than where it is will not get it all dunk packages at 99) One of the big reasons it has better stats like this is because it's 6'3, which I'm aware isn't close to Jordan's height, but as a build it might be better. I'm sure you know more about this stuff than me but thought I'd put my own spin on it. Preciate you!

I only make 2 way finishers, make sure it’s a shooting guard, 65 max wing vert speed chart, I can’t get boards at all, but I got a 22,5,12,14 spread, I also have 88 standing dunk so that’s why I can’t get boards, and I can get hella blocks

mine is a bit different but my first build on this game is a 2 way facilitating finisher and I love it so far. also with shooting being so easy… who is gonna be the first to try out a 7 foot stretch. I’ve been cookin in the builder and you can get a center with a pretty decent 3 ball. I’m super tempted to grind one out
