They literally overprice everything in 2K and make you pay way too much VC for basic items but have a garbage game. Custom shoes are 10K vc, Coats is 25K VC, they every charge for Gatorade boosts that you HAVE to have so you don't get tired easy. That and it's literally impossible to make a new player and max him out without spending money. If they would make a fun game and make it easy for players to level up without spending money out the gate then we wouldn't have this conversation.

Most of us are holding off as this ain’t enough to make me preorder 💩 , it’s the KZbinrs and content creators hyping up every single tweet or news we get. Regardless we are all grown adults, you can’t control no one but yourself and your own pockets as your money don’t affect others or our households. Stand on your business as this community will fold and be right back on 2K rather it’s the first day or when it goes on sale. Change is the most important part of holding off. If they made a change you wanted to see then you yourself will be back on this game. I myself will be back if they make those changes. The reason people start to down talk this game is because we get patches that ruin the game as well as our builds after a week not even a month.

I fucking hate how the Single Player MyCareer attributes are tied to Park/Online modes Like how are you gonna have players like KD who can do it all on the offensive end and still have good defense while we have to pick between a slasher or a shooter, a defensive liability who can dribble or a defensive player but can’t even handle the ball or shoot? It makes no sense. The commentators keep calling us “The GOAT” in 2k24 but we were just glorified role players

They change it back in response to the backlash, then the other side of the community complains about it. It’s been this way for years but everyone just ignores that part. In 2k21 folks complained everyone was too op. The next year they limit players potential so that it’s more dynamic. Then u got people complaining that their build are now glorified role players. The community can never agree on a single thing

Players like Luka and Paul George make the player creator super difficult. Luka is in the high 90s but sucks on defense, is slow, not really athletic by NBA standards. Isn't even a good shooter technically. Still one of the best in the league. PG is 6'8 or 6'9 with crazy handles. Can shoot, great dunker, very good defensively. But just doesn't win

You shouldnt have to make multiple characters to enjoy the game when the devs can nerf your playstyle options on the fly with patches throughout the year

A restrictive MP builder would work perfectly for college, dynasty would be just as good as CFB, 200+ teams, a story from HS to the Natty, and it would allow 2k to really make a game without playing it safe

So far with the builder I’m a bit meh on it. The builder does seem restrictive again. I might just make an inside big so at least I can dominate certain parts of the game if I do buy the game. Knowing what animations u unlock is a W. Badges not regressing is also a W although these two things should have already been in implemented in 24. The legend badges and takeover I’m a bit concerned for. I’m afraid that certain takeovers will be too overpowered. With legend badges I don’t know efficient lower badges are going to be. Sometime simple is better and they just made it more complicated than it has to be. The builder is already restrictive and going for legend badge is going to be almost impossible. U would have to sacrifice a lot. I have to see what rep system and city looks like. If the rep system is going to take a back seat again to seasons than I’m most likely not buying the game. As for the city for the love of all things I just want to ball in a normal environment not in a futuristic bullshit setting or in a volcano. I just want to play street ball. Once again just bring back simplicity.

High dribbling should cost a lot and come with basically no defense. Most crazy ball handlers are small guards and high dribbling is op so you have to give something to get something.

I think what ruins the builder is the high ratings you need to do anything along with the restriction, I much preferred it when people with good timing were able to make 3's even as low as 45 that was when you could make all kinds of gems but now everyone just makes the same build.
