One of the factors is that players at age 35+ normally do not play at a high level. KD, Steph Curry, and LeBron are the outliers. Most players retire by 35, and any that play beyond that are not playing this well. Three older players take the start positions when they would have gone to younger prime players. @@shyne672 and he shouldn't....SAS just mad because kawhi doesn't allow himself to be controlled by hype and by the media.....he also doesn't have the usual star mentality in which the star mentality often can comes with a big ego...the media such as SAS don't know to handle someone like kawhi who is reserved and don't like interviews or social media so he tries to make kawhi into some kinda diva or grimy person just so he could be skeptical of him to make kawhi look bad.

How do people use Chet being out with a straight face as a reason for Shai being mvp. Even without him Shai has WAY more help. Jokic is doing more with far less. Then people want to make the team argument. It’s a most valuable PLAYER award. If you look at the players there is no competition. Not to mention Jokic makes his teammates better by constantly getting everyone involved. Look at Russ along side him

I don't get the argument for Wemby. He has great numbers but the Spurs are behind the Suns. I understand the argument for AD over KD but the powers that be wouldn't let KD come off the bench given the form he's in.
