I must have missed the night that LeBron James broke the career turnover record. Did they pause the game so Karl Malone could congratulate him?

This video is great, it highlights why Malone & Stockton never got a ring. Combined they are a force to fumble with!

And to be fair Stockton at least go to crap ton of assists per turnover Malone should not have had as many turnovers
@cygnustsp4 ай бұрын
These aren't bad players, in fact this demonstrates how good they were because you can't have turnovers if you don't have the ball and these guys had the ball a third of the game
@밸런스-j9gАй бұрын
Of course you are right~ and what the hack MJ? He had the ball so many times and scored, and did turnover very little
@davesrandomstuff227920 күн бұрын
@@밸런스-j9g Turnovers are often bad passes. If you don't pass, you just eliminated a lot of turnovers.

Lebron has averaged 3.3 turnovers per 36 minutes played. Here is same stat for some other notable forwards: Durant - 3.3 Karl Malone - 3.0 Bird - 2.9 Dr. J - 2.9 (NBA career only) Paul George - 2.9 These are for regular season only.

Amazing how Kareem managed to avoid hitting the top spots and MJ never even touched top 15 on this list. This fact alone puts both of them over LBJ in the GOAT-debate for real.

Karl Malone and John Stockton were one of the greatest duo yet they have only appeared in one final and no championship. I believe this chart shows exactly the reason. Two of them leading the chart by miles until they retired and they are on the same team.
@thomasherzog2172 Жыл бұрын
they went to two nba finals in a row, yet lost both times to jordans bulls. you also have to consider that they both had a very long and healthy carrer with more than 1400 games on their bodies each. and considering that they both were their teams go to guys with a lot of ball posession in their hands, their number of turnover relativates. Stockton had 2.82 turnovers per game, while Malone had 3.07 per Game. Which is not very much in compairson to other greats. RussellWestbrook 4.06 Magic Johnson 3.87 Isaiah Thomas 3.76 James Harden 3.73 LeBron James 3.49

There was no duo in NBA history whose team channeled their offense through so completely as those two. It's really amazing they had the success they did, with defenses keying on them, with so few other offensive options as Utah had in their long run together. Hornacek, Russell, Bailey...in 20 years, that was about it.
