Even though that was a tough loss, there was still the assumption they would get it next year with that stacked team. After game six vs Boston it really felt like they were about to be the first team to blow a 3-0 lead. And the fact that it would have been to their biggest rival that beat them the year before in 7 games

7:20 - what the hell were the Celtics doing here? They're down 1, 20 seconds left, and they're dribbling it super slow and taking a last minute shot? That makes zero sense. Take a quicker, cleaner look and even if you miss, you can get an Offensive Rebound or foul again, and have the Sixers shoot FT's, and then still have another shot. They literally wased the whole posession and took a last minute shot, which ended up not counting.

@@MannixM wait what do you mean? The Celtics are down 1. They're not tied, the Sixers are already ahead. If they were tied, then sure, run the clock down. But in this case, you take a quick shot (as in the first best shot you can get) and even if you miss, you foul, force them to take 2 free throws, and even if they only make 1 FT or both, it's still a one posession game, and then the Celtics get another shot. So there decision still makes no sense.
