@THETOYOTAable he isn't a gimmick like current announcers. he's an old school guy from an old school era. a guy like the detroit PA announcer would get booed out of the building. As Tanter says himself, its his job to introduce the players, not be over the top. players that the fans like will get cheered on their play alone. true laker fans realize that he is the best in the business

It's just the annoucer calling the first name, the fans shouting the last name and some clubs play music in the background.
