NBA star Andre Drummond is being hailed a hero after rescuing his 2-year-old son from a potential drowning. Drummond, who just signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, was enjoying an afternoon by the pool, when suddenly, little Deon fell into the water. Without hesitation, Drummond leaped into the water with all of his clothes on. Drummond posted surveillance video from the incident on social media and called the incident "a parent's worst nightmare." Fortunately, the little boy is OK. #InsideEdition

When I was a boy scout of 13 yrs old at a summer camp in Michigan everybody was told to swim out onto the lake and my brother and I didn't have the heart to tell our scout leader that we didn't know how to swim. Well, we got into deep water and were flailing our hands in deep water. As I remember it was violent fighting in the water and my brother kept dunking my head down and I at him. Well, our scout leaders swam out and rescued us. We were gasping and didn't really fully calm down. Now many years later, more mature, I realized that I'd forgotten to thank them. I regret not doing so immediately. At the end of that summer camp, I learned to swim across that lake by myself.

the same thing happened to my younger brother who has autism: we were on a holiday in spain, and out of nowhere he just jumps into the deep end because he's never swam before so he doesn't know what it's like. my older brother was with him but wasn't paying attention (and then blamed it on me) my dad rushed from the other side of the villa, and jumps into the pool with his phone and keys on him. btw, my dad doesn't know how to swim but he still jumped in. my younger brother was terrified and after that, he'd never touch water again for eg when we went swimming lessons a few years after, he cried since he was scared. to this day he's healthy and gaining knowledge - his speech has improved so much ❤️ if it wasn't for my dad he wouldn't be alive ✨ 💕 he also didn't have a phone for the whole of the holiday and i respect him for that because his phone means a lot to him.

Omg. Flashbacks. My daughter was 1 ½ when she was in an infant/child floatie. I turned around to grab her arm floats and her floatie flipped over. I am just 5.1" but somehow I made it over a 4½ foot above ground pool. It is the worst feeling ever. God bless their family. He truly is a hero.
