It’s crazy to think some people don’t know about K Love from the Wolves. Hearing this video talk about him like it may be surprising to some that he went off for that stat line, or that most people remember him for playing with the Cavs and the Heat, really put it into perspective how much time has passed. Damn

They never made the playoffs.
@eviltwin4760 Жыл бұрын
@@OH_MY_DOGGG at the time you never saw a big man average 15 rebounds who shot the 3 that way that’s why his time in Minnesota should be remember. Most shooting bigmen averaged around 7-8 boards with the exception of Dirk who has averaged 10+ before and by no means am I saying K Love was ever on his level. No they didn’t make the playoffs in the stacked Western conference but it’s a reason LeBron wanted him and a reason the Cavs traded the #1 pick Andrew Wiggins aka Maple Jordan to get him. I am not even a Wolves fan. If you’re old enough and you were a legit basketball fan back in those days you remember K Love.

I think most people don't remember him because he didn't really accomplish anything in minnesota. There are a lot of great NBA players, that just don't have the mold to be a good number 1 option. Kevin Love is one of them. But who wouldn't love to have rebounding machine that can shoot the 3 ball and pass as their second or even third best player?

Love was a very well known rebounder during his time with the Wolves. Performances like that looks amazing but you'll not be surprised if he'll grab 30 rebounds atsome point of the season.

Put some respect on K Love and Vuc's names. They were not just "stretch 4s" or "stretch 5s". They were two of the best rebounders in the league at the time, so if anyone would have that kinda game, it was most likely gonna be them. The way this guy was talking about them was like if Timofey Mozgov got 29 rebounds.... Which he did, but I digress P/s: Vuc was not a "stretch 5" till like 2017/2018 when 3pters were revolutionised to the point of Centers shooting 3s

A crazy thing about Love is that he may be one of the only players ever in NBA history where sacrificing to get a ring actually hurts their HOF chances and place in NBA history. Had he stayed on a bad Minnesota team putting up historical numbers, ring or no ring, he couldn’t be overlooked for the HOF. Going to Cle made it so now he’s not the shoe in HoFer he woulda been had he stayed in Minn
@verward Жыл бұрын
There is absolutely no way, and I mean no way, that K-love would have gotten to the HOF if he stayed with the T-wolves. He would maybe have gotten 4 all-nba selections, as many all stars as he has now, and no (memorable) playoff appearances. Does that sounds like a HOF player to you?
@tjanderson5892 Жыл бұрын
@@verward that’s assuming a lot. But think it goes to show how little ppl realize how great Love was before Cle. Dude led the league in rebounding 1 yr. Was top 10 several yrs and top 10 in scoring another. Perennial 20/12 player w/ some 20/15 seasons. He woulda had more AS appearances if he stayed in Minn for sure and ya never know if theyd be able to build a contender around him or not. Not too dissimilar to KGs career starting in Minn and leaving to win 1 ring while his stats declined. KG had an MVP and woulda been HOF before Bos. Love had better numbers in Minn than KG ever had
