I was literally watching this video the day before the accident. I remember watching Kobe when I was growing up. I wanted to play basketball like him. I wanted his mamba mentality. I wanted to be like Kobe Bryant. I remember waking up the next morning going on Instagram when TMZ said he died. I didn’t believe it so ignored it. I had a strange feeling in my gut to check Twitter to see other people’s reactions. So I did and then I suddenly saw the whole thing unravel on my phone. It instantly blew up and I didn’t want to believe it. I kept refusing it. But when it was officially confirmed I broke down. I didn’t say another word the whole day. I was heartbroken. I miss you so much Kobe.

After watching this mix... people still want to argue Kobe’s FG% and total number of missed shots, but who else have you ever seen in HISTORY attempt the incredibly difficult shots that Kobe did? He shot every single attempt believing he could make it and in many cases he did. He had the most complete set of offensive skills in NBA history and there shouldn’t even be an argument on that. Best Scorer of the 21st Century. It was an honour to watch you Kobe. My favourite moment had to be Kobe winning back to back titles in 2010... I thought at that point he would get to at LEAST 7 titles. Shame the Lakers organization was in shambles in his late career and he never got to play with much talent in the 2010's. #LakerLoyalty
