The 2015-16 season was the best season in NBA history. GSW's 73 wins, Kobe Bryant's retirement, LaVine and Gordon's greatest dunk contest of all time, and the 2016 NBA Finals were great games.

I know that Kyrie’s shot and LeBron’s block are the moments that get talked about the most in this game, but LeBron’s three free throws to cut the lead down to 1 and the following it up with a 3 to put them up 2 really gave them the momentum and confidence they needed to attack and win this game.

@@HarryCrackz I always say you can only (truly) measure greatness through failure (limits), and unbeatable teams were LeBron's limit (2007 Spurs, 2008 Celtics weren't on the level as other unbeatable teams- but they weren't going to lose to any team that season, 2014 Spurs, Durant-Warriors, and this 2016 Warriors were so close to being an unbeatable team- not bcus of the Finals, but bcus OKC had them on the ropes before a Game 7)- this is how great he was in his younger years, to be one of 2 players (Iverson) to take mediocre teams to the Finals and go up against legendary superteam-dynasties.... LeBron has done this twice!!!! But, yeah, I feel robbed that true basketball/NBA fans never got to see LeBron dominate the entire league for a 4- or 5- year stretch.... I truly believe he would've won the next 3 or 4 championships out of a possible 4.... that momentum would've carried him to draw the attraction of easier built teams and he'd have another 1-2 rings after 2020- he should have at least 7 rings now!!!!

As a NON LeBron James fan, I can say as great as Bron has been for the majority of his career and possibly the greatest player of his era, this was the last time LeBron carried any team. He literally brought them back down 1-3 against the GS Warriors. Kyrie was huge with that 3 but it was cause of Bron willed them back to win and ultimately overcome a unrealistic deficit. This was 7 years ago and I saw this in real time. I lost a bet but I was happy for LeBron James and the city of Cleveland at this time they had gone 52 years without a title and ended that horrific drought.

This finals was truly a one in a quadrillion experience. We will never see another team again go 73-9 in the season, enter the finals as the heavy favorites only to squander a 3-1 lead and get mercilessly mocked on the internet. I remember watching this explosive game in my school clinic's TV and a lot of my nervous classmates were peeking from the window, such good times. Absolutely one of the best NBA games of all time.

Absolutely. Unlike basketball, you’re lucky to get 3 goals out of 60 minutes. Don’t even get me started in overtime. It’s like each overtime that hits, the emotions double.

You can see the nerves of every single player on the court just by the shot results. After Klays layup, 3:17 - Not quite a brick 3:26 - way off even though he’s open 3:50 - air ball on a pretty good look 4:38 - short and off 5:00 - point blank range miss, but he was fouled 5:08 - an absolute clank 5:28 - way short 5:49 - wide open miss 6:18 - misses rim entirely 6:48 - like a foot and a half short on a 6 foot shot😂 7:00 - complete brick 7:20 - breaks the spell with one of the biggest shots ever What an entertaining and ugly rock fight this was with everyone affected by nerves.

Not sure which is crazier, that LeBron went for 27/11/11 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, or that Draymond Green was the star for Golden State putting up 32/15/9 while shooting 11/15 from the field (including 6/8 from 3).

Am borrowing a comment I read in another video: It is a standard practice to review this game once in awhile. Now that I view it again, Kevin Love did a fantastic job closing and guarding, the block and the tension in the arena must be so tense I can feel in front of the monitor lol. Great Win by Cavs back in 2016! I hope Lakers will win Warriors this year as they have successfully stole game 1 now. Very nice!

what ruined that series for me was Jordan taking the ball from Kukoc in game 5 and tried some dumb one-legged fadeaway three. Kukoc could have possibly been finals MVP but Jordan air balled it to make it go to a game 6. and of course Jordan did what he had to do to erase that’ll game 5 failure

I've watched a lot of NBA Finals, and this was one of, if not, my favorite series. Two outstanding teams with two varying styles of play. One is looking to finish off what, statistically speaking, would've been the greatest single season of all time: In a title defense season, to win a league record 73 games and then defend your title against the very team you beat last year, despite them being healthy this time around, after beating OKC 3-1 right before this series in the WCF??? Meanwhile, Cleveland is trying to win the first title in franchise history, being lead by a man who was drafted, left and returned to fulfill his promise to the city he grew up right around the corner from. And to do so after being down 3-1??? The block by James. The shot by Irving. The stop by Love. The fact that the game went 3+ minutes down the stretch without a basket and the score tied only made it even more intense. I'm not a Lebron-stan. I have him 2nd all time behind Michael. But this was easily the most impressive championship between these 2 players and probably the most impressive championship I've seen won of all time.
