After his failure in the 2011 finals lebron basically turned into God mode for the rest of his career. I'd argue that the 2011 collapse was a blessing in disguise because it made Lebron confront his weaknesses. He's been great in the regular season but come playoffs he turns into a different animal. If he needs a win, he will get his win (unless his teammates start choking like they did during game 4 of the 2023 WCF or JR smith in 2018).

The 2015-16 Warriors Team that went 73-9 was essentially the same roster from 2013-14 that went 51-31 with Mark Jackson as head coach and then in 2014-15 went 67-15 and won the championship with Steve Kerr as head coach (and the Cavs had them down 2-1 before losing 4-2). The story has evolved since that time to make it seem like the Warriors were already a "super team". They weren't. Steph was just beginning his ascension to what we know him to be now, and Klay was healthy and the second best shooter in the league, and they could just outshoot all of the competition while playing great team defense. Hell, they had Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut starting. Their roster top to bottom weren't world beaters, but they had great chemistry. When they added KD to the Splash Bros that was simply too much elite shooting for anyone to overcome. You had three guys on the roster capable of going off for 8+ threes in a game. 2019 was fate breaking up an unbeatable union. Well, fate and Draymond Green. lol

If I had to pick a starting lineup team for a life or death game, give me '87 Magic, '96 Jordan, '16 LeBron ('18 LeBron would also work), '16 Curry, and '00 Shaq. I'm never dying.

Who you got on your bench? Can't be starters tho lol
@joon9252 Жыл бұрын
@@TayG_9DeuceI think he passed bc he chose the wrong bench players in said life or death game
@@TayG_9Deuce Ok, bench players that actually had to be bench players primarily for their career: '87 Michael Cooper (6th man) '10 Jamal Crawford '18 Lou Williams '02 Robert Horry '19 Montrezl Harrell '89 Eddie Johnson '82 Bobby Jones Size would be an issue as I don't have a true C, but this group would give other 2nd units fits with their firepower, versatility, and defensive ability.

We’ve heard some talk about how “Angry Lebron” is probably the most unstoppable force in the NBA, ever. And it’s crazy because I think we’ve only ever seen “Angry Lebron” like 5 to 7 times in his 20 year career. Imagine if he could tap into that every game.
@MrRuSh61 Жыл бұрын
He never had the coaches to push him to that extra “2%” Ty Lue was capable. If he had Pop Pat, or Phil for 10-15 years, we would’ve seen something (somehow) even more special.

@imaplague10 ай бұрын
The reason he has a 20 year career is cause he doesn’t go “Angry LeBron” all the time. He plays 70-80% all season and saves that 20% extra strain for when it really matters. There’s a reason he barely gets injured despite the sheer volume of hours he plays

Draymond saying he's "grown as a person" might be the funniest thing about this video.
@its-dg29875 ай бұрын
It’s really funny because he says he wouldn’t react the same because he changed, then immediately stated he doesn’t know if he’d react differently because it’s a natural reaction to defend himself. 😭😭
