It's not about playing sweats it's about a balance. When you play pub matches SBMM is stupid. You play pubs because you don't want to have to sweat out every single match you play. If you want that you go play ranked. That is the whole reason of having a ranked mode you can play if you want be play every single match competitively. When you hop into rec you should have chill games where you can just have fun and not have to try your absolute hardest every single match.

A screener will set a screen, to free up the ball handler and the ball handler would rather drive out in a half circle, when comin off the screen. What aggravates me so much about it is that, it will be so much floor spacing between the rim and ball handler. NO DEFENDER will even be in the floor spacing and you could have an EASY opportunity to score. But naw, the damn game controls you to where, your ball handler will drive out wide. Helping the defense recover at times smh. Like that make NO SENSE AT ALL smh. The shooting is worse in this game, but the movement in this game, is something that CAN NOT be missed. It's HORRIBLE. Feel sluggish, so delayed, feel like you being pulled by a magnet. It's just crazy how they thought it was ok to release this game and ignore alot of flaws.

That's what I normally do after 3 months of raging because at the end of the day; I still love basketball and it's the only simulation we have right now. I agree with almost everything. The playing sweats all the time can't really be fixed if you are a highly skilled player. For you to be matched up against lesser opponents so you don't sweat means the less skilled player now have to sweat playing against you. Its crap and everyone has issues with Skill Based MMR but there doesn't seem to be a resolution for as long as there is a huge difference with skill gaps between players (to be expected in everything). I feel like everything single player I’ve played has made improvements. The actual nba side of mycareer had some huge quality of life improvements imo. In that context too the changes in shooting don’t annoy me as much. If anything it makes getting mvp and what not feel like a challenge if im not trying to be a ball hog. You can ask out on key games and the fact that you can choose them and are rewarded for them is nice. Badge progression obviously improved but the amount of improvement you get from drills is great. Story elements are watchable lol. As someone who works and comes home to turn my mind off playing super casual 2k I’m having a blast.

100% I think with online there's only so much they can do because ultimately one group or another will be pissed -- they can't make everyone happy -- but the AI of CPU teammates is something that has no right to be as bad as it is for as long as it's been. Especially when you see how smart the CPU AI is in terms of cutting & spacing on offense and helping & rotating on defense

2K and Take-Two have reached a level that should not be forgiven with NBA2K25. They have gaslighted people into thinking their players are broken with this "rhythm shooting" which is actually just a fancy name for a busted new jump shot mechanic that they had NO desire or intention of ever making it work like it was advertised. Once in a while, you come across someone on Reddit or Twitter that thinks they're "comp" and will say it's a skill issue. Sorry, but RNG impacting jump shooting is the furthest thing from a skill issue.🤣 Broken shooting mechanics that are objectively broken are also, in fact, NOT the proponents of skill issue. I can't be the only one that noticed everybody that enjoys this game currently has either paid for VC for their player builds and/or are the exact same bootlickers that say how great 2K is every year. People I know that NEVER spend extra money on this game are considering buying VC. I told them just like I'm telling yall in here right now: Don't do it. Don't spend extra money on a broken game. Your build will be *fine* even if the badge/attribute/VC grind is torture and gives you headaches. And if you don't want to grind and would rather spend your time on literally ANYTHING else, I think that would be the most wise idea one could make in regards to NBA2K25. Yeah, it's honestly SO bad that it isn't worth playing...

The RNG is only on low and medium risk. On high risk the green window is just small unless you use no meter rhythm shooting. But it's not RNG. Which animation you trigger isn't random. But it *IS* harder. And shooting percentages are closer to real life. That was the point. That you couldn't shoot 60% with a 72 three ball.
