@@nba2ktutes it depends on what hook shot you use... for Example the Embiid hook gives you plenty of space but the shimmy version of it is impossible to green vs real player or bot...I believe post hook 2 should be your go to.

Awwww man. U let out the best kept secret for us post scorers. This badge is absolute must in the paint for all 3 shots. Pump fakes under basket. Also fades and post hooks. Boost shot percentage

Doing post hooks and fades are fine if you're playing Market but if you're foreal tryna score using those moves in any other place I just think you're sellin imo. Hooks and fades aren't as good as they were in 2K21 and 2K20

From game experience (I.e. I haven’t ran any numbers for this), this badge is great for post scorers. It usually pops up after I stun people in the rec with shimmy post fades. It also pops up on up and unders (if you know how to do them). I also see it working if I do a post fake (flick right stick to the left or right quickly) and then fade off of it. Sometimes the fake will stun real players and almost always stun AIs Once I learned how to use the right stick for up and unders and post scoring, this badge became a must. If you’re a big and your man quits out, this badge will kill AI. They will bite on almost every fake or post shimmy. At that point it’s up to you to green the fade. I’d recommend 1) practice fading 2) turn off shot meter on fades so you can focus on the visual cue and get the shot % boost 3) get hotspots in mycareer 4) run fade ace Hope this helps someone

I'm a post scoring SG and have this badge on HoF while playing REC. I can tell you from personal experience that real players do get stunned on shoulder fakes. Idk what exactly plays a role, but I religiously get stuns on them online.

The person defending u in the post has to be holding LT/L2 for stuns to activate and that’s the only way it’ll work

It works pretty well in The Market against people. Attributes probably play a role, I’m guessing the Giannis test build has higher defensive stats than most myplayer builds.

Funny. How Late this badge get its deserved respect. But you know., the meta thing.. you get good change to stun your matchup, plus a raise of the FG %, ideal for taller builds. Pump fakes, drive and spins, dropsteps. I told It since Day one. Im So sad that Post Scorer are nearly Instinct, Today. Ps and yes It Works online vs human Players. My expierence is exactly counterwise to yours. A smart defender of course can use smarter Controller Inputs, to prevent anklebreaker/stun animations. But, a Human can only guess if you go left or right in specific Situations. His error quote is higher then a CPU that is tied to a % thing.

Dude post scores aren’t dead you see them all the time on the 1v1 court as far as 3s and 5s it’s just better to have a center who can shoot 3s instead of tough 2s where players can double and strip you or contest and get blocks

As a pure post big, this badge doesn't help my style at all. Pump fakes after a successful drop step or other post move just gives the defender an opportunity to get back in the play. The jab stuns are only really worthwhile if you're big on post hooks not directly underneath the basket (which is where I try to be every time I shoot, at a 85% clip)

You don't get the actual ankle breaker animation using this against real players, but it WILL create separation if they're actually defending you body to body in the post. Every single time.

Not sure if I'm oversimplifying the video but what I pulled from this is that the badge is useless against real people. Unlike Tight Handles, Space Creator, or Ankle Breaker for guards, the animations Dream Shake increases the frequency of doesn't even affect human defenders. If a defender is going to jump, they'll jump with or without you having this badge equipped. Not really sure the variety of post shots that get a boost and in what situations but that seems limited as well, especially against humans. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Nah it works, although you are correct in that guard badges usually trigger stuns more consistently. I usually use it just to get the shot boost, but if I get a stun animation then it’s just a bonus.

Definitely wrong but no hard feelings... The stun is similar to a tight handles stun.. Human or AI... once you throw in some shoulder fakes and do a shimmy fade vs a real human... you'll see they get stunned just as AIs do

@@sstelevision6376 Yes the badge increases stuns on humans I run it silver and I shoulder fake before every fade / shimmy fade in the rec, and stun most bigs more often than not It's not gonna be every single time but the badge defitnely stuns humans

There’s a part on the video where i controlled the other player and move the defender left and right for lots of times trying to form a misdirection sequence and stun animation didnt come up even once. Yes the actual frequency of everything on player vs. Ai will be different on most cases.

So if the badge activation is different with CPU vs online user, then doesn’t that mean that all badge test results aren’t even important unless it’s tested online with a user? I mean I could see an argument that testing vs CPU can at least give you a gauge in which to suspect it to effect online players, but that goes out the window when you go from 80% success vs CPU to literally 0% success vs online player… this would definitely include other badges like ankle breaker, space creator, etc that cause animations to happen to an opponent.

This badge works well in Market but thats about it. If you're tryna use this in Rec/Pro-AM or Park this will not work against any big or 6'9 build. Imo if you're taking post hooks and fades you're just selling

This isn’t true, I have an interior force post scoring big that I take to the rec all the time shooting post fades and hooks and my build can score 30 and 40 points without an issue, you have to play smart with how they defend it
