The best reason for this can best be summarized by his performance in the Elite Eight. In that game both Knecht and Edey outscored the rest of their teams combined by 15. He was one of the two players in all of college basketball that dragged his team kicking and screaming to a deep tournament run and only stopped because he ran into the other one. This man has the talent of a scorer and the mindset to make whatever shot is necessary to win, even if it's an impossible layup against a 7'4" giant.
