when the knicks acquired kat i knew he will go mvp level. its just the perfect fit. hes not that demanding as randle but more skilled from 3 than randle. so him and brunson can either attack the rim or shoot from outside and switch the role for their likings. and the others o nthe team are great as well. recipe for a deep playoff run. hopefully.

The issue was the coach of Minnesota. Notice that KAT didn't do well there, Randle is doing okay there and Donte DiVincenzo isn't doing well there. Also if you watched the game, the reason that Randle didn't continue his fiery start is because the coach took him out at that point. That's a rookie mistake that an experienced coach should never make. Also where was Anthony Edwards? He didn't show up for the game. Randle was the only one who looked like he came to play. He matched KAT in terms of points but had no help. Also when he passed to others...they missed.

I have my issues with Thibs, but Minnesota's coach isn't that great. Personally, I think they should trade him. What do I mean? Notice that he didn't push the players to: move well without the ball, pass faster out of double teams, cut to the rim for passes that lead to easy buckets on the run, get out in transition, speed up the pace, do more ally oops, do more pick n' rolls, drive & kick out, post ups, etc. All he tried to have the team do is shoot 3 pointers. He seems similar to Thibs in that he mainly focuses on defense but seems unable to help the team create offense...though he's worse than Thibs is in that area. Also Minnesota's starting lineup needs 3 point shooters...meaning they need to get some more. Jaden McDaniels doesn't score much and neither does Rudy Gobert. One needs more bench time or to be traded. And...the coach should have put in Naz Reid with Rudy Gobert at times and should have put in Dillingham because Mike Conley was great in his prime but is fading fast. If I were the Timberwolves, I would trade for 2 of these guys: Wendell Carter, Jakob Poeltl, DeAndre Hunter, Nic Claxton, Nick Richards, Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Luke Kennard, DeAndre Ayton, Malik Beasley, Caris LeVert, Collin Sexton or Dejounte Murray. And why couldn't the coach get Anthony Edwards going? What about ally oops or pick n' roll passes to him and Julius Randle?
