Dude there were only about 5 or 6 plays in the video where a player discontinued their dribble (palming) in dribbled again. Grabbing, cupping, or moving the ball without dribbling during a gather is legal with the correct amount of steps

@DAVIDMILLER-nc9vo your not seeing what a true player does..or what level you've played....so I take that your just a watcher, who has never played..I saw techniques that appear to travel by as they mentioned using your pivot foot..then a extention fake, putting the ball out of sight for a split second w/o moving your pivot, they bite, which puts them one step out of defensive position, & the player has 2steps left b/c he never moved his pivot.& has a choice jumper or to the basket for a lay up..🤔see now just gave you the breakdown..now rewatch..thats only one move of many you'll see, its all in the fake & footwork or like lebron you can use looks, facial expressions & fake too..ie LBJ"s standing fake & look off, which opened up a quick wide open space to hit the cutter to the basket.
