Doing the trick so quickly, without any cover ruins the trick. It's not the person changing quickly, but that the dress is designed to change quickly.

@vshah1010 It doesn't ruin the trick, it's impressive in its own right! I watched this video at .25 speed and I *still* couldn't see the change happening. It was like one moment she was in one outfit, the next It was a different one. It takes a lot of finesse and clever design to pull that off.

​​​@@ml-jt6egThat's often more difficult- many of the older quick change artists did it the other way around, with the longer bulkier dresses first. That way they could hide the shorter thinner ones inside. The fact she starts with short dresses astounds me. It takes much more engineering to hide all that bulk under such a small prop. Though she still does have the thicker dresses on top usually and the sheerer ones underneath like the gold she finished with. Also, the cutouts and featuring the dress she's wearing on the card was a cute touch.

Notice she always stands in front of the gambling table. Her dresses have a string attached to the Table and it pulls off each dress into the table to make the quick change. She tries to cover up with the confetti and big cards.

It's okay to know how the 'magic' is done and still enjoy it, but I was just not wowed enough compared to past contestant Léa Kyle for instance who did a ton more changes in her acts. This act was a good performance, but I think it could have used a couple more changes.

So many people understand her act and belittle it, but it isn't just the mechanics, it's her stage presence. Engaging the crowd, the speed. We've had quick-change acts on AGT before, they always followed the same pattern. An impressive audition followed by minor changes to the routine that fizzles out halfway through the contest if they are lucky. THIS however, is legitimately creative and entertaining. Can't wait to see what she does next.
