The US had given Netanyahu the blueprint and its permission to copy the Iraq/Afghanistan War. Now civilians are in the crossfire of insurgents and ununiformed combants. Explosives in ordinary devices is reminiscent of the 1988 Lockerbie Pan Am flight. I pray we don't see a tragedy of that magnitude.

1) Lebanese homes & shops are not a combat zone; they are a civilian setting w/children & bystanders (who have been killed & injured here). 2) Not everyone affiliated w/Hezbollah is a combatant. Extrajudicial killing of non-combatants is a war crime.

This all began with Americans creating Israel as their first off-shore nuclear weapons base, said to be for Middle East oil domination. The first thing Israel did was attack Egypt. About Oct. 7th. Israeli-American snipers were shooting the knees and legs of Palestinians, what provoked the retaliation they desired.

The housing crisis you describe is another result of the 2008 stock market grab. The fraud began with stocks and then residential mortgages, what the American economy is now based on, not the gold standard. Housing prices are like stock market action. It should be easy to pass a federal law, saying from now on any house that's being sold can only be sold to someone who wants to live in it.
