Most of the early Cuban refugees from Castro's Cuba were the wealthy or more affluent white Cubans who were able to get out of the country. My best friend was Cuban, so I know a bit about that era. He was one of those early refugees. His parents sent him and his brother away just after Castro came to power, but they couldn't get out until a few years later, after being in hiding. Btw, although Che Guevara became well known for his activities in Cuba, he was actually from Argentina.

If it's anything like recent previous disasters e.g. California and Hawaii fires then you'll find that most of those individuals reported as missing aren't missing at all. Many cases family members who temporarily can't get in touch with a missing person don't bother or don't feel any need to contact the authorities to take them off the list when contact is re-established with what turns out to be a displaced friend or relation.

I believe the powers that be could stay the execution for a period of time and ask all those who believe the young man is innocent to come up with their compelling evidence to show his innocence such as doctors police officers church members etc. ,At this point it would be such a tragedy if an innocent man was put to death. I am no Republican but I can say that this particular 'black face' costume might not be ment to really offend anyone. I saw a news report where a little white kid painted his face black and wore a mustache and little gray suit when he dressed as Martin Luther King for a report at school. He was sent home because the teacher told him he could not do that and I just have to say that this kid did not mean it as an insult being he loved Martin Luther King and what he stood for. He chose this person to do a report on. Robert Downey Jr. did black face hard core in the movie Tropic Thunder and he went on to be Ironman. I just think sometimes we need to back off on people who make mistake's in this style due to the time's or how they are doing it.
