If you're talking about abortion, you're not seeing the whole picture. What seems "odd" is that some people think the mother's life isn't as important as the undeveloped life dependent on her body. Our rule of law is the Constitution, not our individual moral beliefs. According to the Constitution, a person born on U.S. soil comes under jurisdiction & protection of state & federal laws & not before.
