Just think of it as the season 5 cliffhanger where we thought Casey, Severide, Mouch, and Hermann were going to die but none of them did. My prediction is that either they do find a way out themselves, or Truck 51, or at least Casey and Gallo jump in and saves them. Either way, I'm sure everyone is going to make it out alive.

I don't think they would do that. DH is apparently done with miscarriage storylines when he was asked about it in a interview. He said he has done it already to Gabby and he doesn't intend to do another one soon.

She can go into premature labor and be in danger via c section, etc. Hopefully they don’t. I’m over all the pregnant storylines on this show being overdramatized and traumatic lol. Let’s let Chloe have a nice, normal labor. I just think that they included that the baby shower was the same day as shift for a reason, unfortunately.

It's actually the second time Kelly is scared of losing her. He got all emotional thinking of losing her in season 7 when Stella was injured while she was alongside Herrmann covering his exit route during the high rise apartment fire. It hits different this time around though because they're engaged and if he goes, Stella's gonna turn into a devastated, heartbroken and emotional wreck.

The episode is called "NON-SURVIVORS", something has to mean ... but hey, the probability of Kelly's death is proportional to the renewal of Taylor Kiney's contract, killing Joey or Tony is difficult, but remember that Capp introduced his girlfriend, and that can be a bad sign as when it comes to the One Chicago characters, something always happens to them when they are lovingly happy. Now I don't remember if Casey has already renewed his contract, does anyone know?

Three out of the four of them have story development that gives the viewers things to look forward to --- a wedding, a birth, and is Capp's new girlfriend real or an escort? Putting that in peril keeps viewers invested. Tony does not have any of that. In fact, I often forget about Tony! He fades into the background. I'm betting other viewers have done the same thing! Wouldn't it be something if they killed him off and forced us all to discover what we missed in not paying more attention to him? What a canvas for writing a story! The writers could turn him into anything --- a saint, a sinner, an inventor of something really cool that we all use, a secretly wealthy guy who invested in tech but loved fire fighting? I want an episode that makes me grateful that the three with story live to see it happen but makes me regret that I didn't pay more attention to the one I knew nothing about! Now that would be something!

Gonna lay it all out for the positive people thinking everyone will survive. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE…. SEVERIDE: unlikely to, him and KIDD are finally in a good place. Would be odd for the writers to do this with only two seasons left. Writers are probably thinking about wrapping things up and this isn’t the way to do it and still keep fans happy… CRUZ: likewise would also be odd for the writers to kill him, but it’s potentially a way of getting CHLOE written out of the script, look at OTIS. His girlfriend only stuck around for a few more episodes. And again, why would the writers do this when trying to wrap the series up? Unlikely but don’t discount it. CAPP: is a strong possibility. He doesn’t add much to the cast, while a good actor when he does speak its not relevant or helpful to the progression of the story. His girlfriend has randomly turned up and this is the first major thing we’ve seen from the character in 9 seasons… TONY: of everyone he is the most likely to be killed. Let’s think about it, he works as a firefighter in the CFD for real. After 9 seasons he’s probably wanting a way out to rest and stuff and get back to his actual job. Similarly to CAPP he doesn’t add much to the storylines. A few lines here and there, and he drives the Squad. Can his spot be opened for a new character?? CURVEBALL: Someone from truck might die trying to rescue them from the situation they just put themselves in… I look forward to any complaints raised because of my honesty and open mindedness

Improbable events seem to be what the writers rely on with this show! 2 glaring details stand out from the season finale - 1. It is unrealistic for there to be something heavy & bulky to be loosely placed on a small boat like the one in this episode! Then to conveniently move into position to block the only exit when the boat completely submerges is ridiculous to say the least about it! 2. The odds of the one man still on the boat banging on something right when the guys are seconds away from running out of air is improbable as well, especially after the decision to leave the boat was just ordered! That's basically tantamount to committing suicide for all 4 of them! 3. It also is clear that so long as the fire department is going to provide scuba assistance on any body of water, there should be a much better prepped response team to handle the unexpected! For example, having an air pump available & someone to provide extra air tanks as needed. Also the team should have went in no more than 2 guys at a time & rotate to extend search times. Then there's the use of scanners to detect heat signatures to more readily detect where survivors are on the boat!
