@@johnbaker1823 i love to see good defense! i love physical games. in the 90s we had it all!! great defense, great offense, creativity, etc. teams were running different offense. u had the bulls and the triangle, the jazz with the pick and roll, rockets and knicks going heavy in the paint, the pacers with miller running through screens, the sonics fast paced game, etc. now everything looks the same, run, shoot a 3 in the first 5 seconds, even if its a bad shot. so this dude saying the 90s was bad basketball makes no sense at all. he doesnt have a clue.

If fans believe players don't care, they won't care. That's the secret sauce to any successful sports league. More gimmicks won't matter. You can have a 30 game season and fans still won't watch.

11:50 what is Dan talking about? We COOKED Anthony Richardson for taking a SINGLE PLAY off when he was tired in an NFL game. A 1 million dollar per game NBA player SHOULD be criticized for sitting out games. If it doesn't matter that the stars play all the games, then the season is too long. It should matter that the most valuable players are not on the court.

I want a change that makes the game and strategy feel the same but subtly alters player decisions. Awarding 2 free throws for a 3 or making the quarters shorter are actually great ideas. And Patrick Mahomes can get paid any amount per game because he plays injured and wins

This is giving NHL FoxTrax desperation energy. The problem is the culture of the league. The orgs. The coaches. The players. It's one big country club that makes its money selling over-priced merch. This is a TV show, at the end of the day, Adam. If your star players don't want to play, why would you expect fans to watch or care? When the star of your show is load managing, your audience is forced to pay for or watch supporting characters. Imagine a season of Mad Men where Jon Hamm wants half the episodes off to rest up for the the other half of the season? Why are we watching Mad Men without Don Draper? My question is this: What else would some of these players rather be doing? You get to the NBA and now you're chilling? Well, you''re killing the league -- and no one is watching -- and now there won't be enough money to pay you massive salaries to take nights off. Where to now? Reality TV?

You could simply limit the number of 3s. Max 30 3s per game. After that, they only count for 2.

The way to fix the league is to cut the number of games. Have a 62 game season that begins on Christmas. Get rid of the play in and have the top 4 seeds go to division winners. This will eliminate load management because guys have to play and the regular season games will actually have stakes.

He's trying to protect LeBrona stats and only argument he has against Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Kareem. Reducing minutes and shortening the season might make the game more attractive but clearly Brons records wont be broken and he knows that todays game will water down all the stats because it has become so easy to score with all the changes he made over the last 6-10 years

10 minutes quarters works in the nbl in Australia under fiba rules and its create more defensive stop and offensive fast breaks plus the nba need to play with fiba rules to align with the world game. use fiba rules and 10 mins quarters in the nba cup
