I am again disappointed in the quality of news/sportscasters. At one time, it was considered a requirement of good reporting to at least pretend to be unbiased. Apparently, that is no longer true. The heading of this KZbin article which describes a young swimmer`s win as merely `sneaking` past the expected, favoured swimmer was insulting and misleading. A difference of almost three seconds and two body lengths in the pool is hardly the close finish implied. The second place swimmer (Ledecky) has undoubtedly had many earlier, well deserved victories. However, the reporters should not have been disparaging this new victor and competition record setter (McIntosh) by belittling the outcome. Smarten up NBC Sports!
