I wish all Ohio State fans and players had the character of Joshua. By far my favorite Ohio player and person. And I am a Michigan fan. He is such a honest person and a genuinely good guy. Love the show keep up the great content.

Not really. Joshua is part of the problem. He have been drinking the Kool-Aid for too long. Justifying everything Ohio did wrong.

Jake & Joshua represent their universities well as two of the best football commentators in the country. The networks need to move each of them up to the A Team handling the major college games.

As a Michigan fan "Trouble with the Snap" was what I thought of too for how this was for OSU. The bye week after that game was brutal. Thanks Jake for sharing what Harbaugh said after that game.

Here is something I haven't heard anybody talk about. How many times did Wink face Chip Kelley in the NFL. He knows what his tendencies are. Ohio getting him as an OC was such a bad move. Wink baited him all day long. Wasn't even fair. Honestly I think he is the key to Michigan winning.
@dennispowers42549 күн бұрын
I thought Michigan's hiring of Wink was another bad move, like hiring another old coach, but he proved me wrong in this game.

Smith got away with a blatant facemask and OPI. Michigan was playing one-dimensional football and OSU defense couldn't stop them in the 4th quarter. JP sounds clueless. Michigan defense completely outplayed OSU defense. JP is talking about Jack Sawyer like he's a dawg, the dude is DE, zero sacks, hardly any pressure, and his biggest play is an INT. What a joke.

It’s not more satisfying than National Championship or the Alabama win in the Rose bowl but it’s 3rd (at least in the last 27 years)!

So it was obvious that the game plan was to run the football for Ohio State. What I’m curious to know is if Ryan Day truly thought they could run the football on Michigan. Did he truly think his offensive line could move Michigan’s defensive line? I just wonder if he really thought that or if he just wanted to win that way. I guess only he knows.
@BradleyDavis-ge5yv9 күн бұрын
As a life long Michigan fan I have to say Ryan Day is a genius coach, OSU has to keep him, he is so great. All half time I was sure even Day would know finally how to beat Michigan based on the final drive of the first half, but somehow the Buckies did not learn anything from the one drive they had in the game? Day does less with more than any other coach.
@tinkturtle9 күн бұрын
Thanks guys. I enjoyed that conversation. As a UM fan I have to agree with JP, you need to get your D a rest. You need to pickup at least, at least one first down after a long drive by the other team.

Tell me how they game plan to target a receiver if the QB can't stay upright? In the 33 passing attempts, the QB was hurried in 18 of those plays and uncomfortable in all 33 of those passing plays. The last possession Ohio Soft had he was 0 for 4, OSU truly needed McCord. OSU didn't have the speed to run outside, they tried.

i think the same , saw some other comments on that earlier this week that are merited. Howard was only out for one play not sure how long a protocol takes to run but , people in leadership at Ohio State need to be talking about this plainly and with intent because its important for Howard's health.

Howard was 19/33. Day said second most pass attempts this year. Michigan was able to rush 4. No one was open or Will was hurried, forced out pocket or had to tuck and run.
@James-mm6jh9 күн бұрын
Michigan hit Howard and he had no time a better part of the game to throw. The fact Michigan could get presser with 4 helped out a tremendous amount. The interceptions on both sides was crazy, just very bad interceptions.

@ That one by Warren on the goal line was terrible. Wide open too. Miss that one but can thread it to o’leary on the run across his body..!!?? Would of been cool had the coaches got this team playing like this sooner. But couldn’t be happier on how it played out for us against Ohio.

As a Michigan fan, I’m rooting for Ohio State to win the Natty. Not because I don’t want Ryan Day to be fired. I don’t care if he stays or leave. But if he gets fired after winning the Natty, its going to chatter the minds of all the other fanbases. And that to me in my mind is so awesome….They are going be like..”WOW thats how much that game matters to them, even after winning the 12 team playoffs and winning Natty, …and….they fire their head coach?!”

Jake, no stakes on the line!? They don't call this the greatest rivalry in all of sports for nothing! The game itself is the stakes. Like both you and Joshua said, the National Championship REALLY isn't going to change the impact of this game. When this Saturday in November rolls around both teams set everything aside and play this game. I doubt any of the Ohio players were thinking about the Big Ten Championship. They were thinking, one, beat Michigan, two, don't get beat by Michigan, and three, oh shit do something we are about to lose to Michigan again 〽😀
@markp858110 күн бұрын
I don't know. Was OSU defense great or was Michigan's offense really really bad. UM offense was very very bad all year. But they still won.

42:49 You say this outcome is one of the most unlikely things that could have happened. Yet, everyone blames Ryan Day. He did not cause any harm with his second timeout. The Defense had 12 men on the field= after a timeout? How? Where is your Defensive Team Captain? Can't he count his players? Is that Jack Sawyer? Losing contain, and letting Mullings bounce outside is the root cause of this decade for OSU losses. 3rd and long. Contain Mullings and OSU offense has the final say. OBTW, OSU is at home. Worst case you are in OT. At Home. IN-the Shoe. Maybe OSU needs a new stadium? Coach decisions seem appropriate? The Defense catastrophically failed on that series. Somehow, the Offense is blamed. 3;20 on the clock when Mullings broke, 12men on the field penalty was at 1;55. OSU player Helmet taken off at 1;29. OSU Defense was gassed. Maybe the narrative was OSU is just not a 4quarter team?
