NC Blade: No Tricks, Just Treats Surprise $300 Box

I bought a $300 box a few weeks ago. I needed some retail therapy after missing out on the Divo Tallboy and pulled the trigger. I ended up getting a Microtech MSI and an Ultratech. Funny thing is, I got the exact MSI I was on the sight to buy in the first place before getting the Mystery Box instead, lol. Already sold the Ultratech, so I basically got a free MSI out of the deal. Pretty happy with it.

Hells yeah 🙌🏼! You’re the third person I’ve heard that has received an Ultratech, wonder if that’s a standard in the $300 boxes 🤔. Man, I feel you on the retail therapy - it’s essential to maintain my sanity 😂. Glad you got the MSI you had your eye on 👊🏼. I’ve actually been using the Reate EXO-U quite a bit for cutting up liners for some drawers in my house. Don’t think my cuts would be as precise with a knife 😅

I remember seeing something about that eikonic brand and they were supposed to bring budget knives from top knife makers to the market. Unfortunately they ended up selling 30 dollar budget knives for $80 so everyone could get their cut and they didn't do so well. At least you got a nice ultratech even tho you probably wouldn't of bought it otherwise. I never do these mystery bundles because I know I'd get some crap I'd never buy.

LOL, man I was really hesitant, but luckily my buddy John is still fairly new to the knife game and the Microtech is right up his alley. I'm going to keep the Reate and Eikonic -- will certainly be doing a GAW for the Eikonic. Yeah, I've never even heard of them before getting that in the mystery bundle.
