Marijuana is illegal because It threatens the revenue of companies that manufacture medications for anxiety, Insomnia, and appetite for people with cancer. People of color were used as an excuse because of the racism of those days, but the actual reason was because the pharmaceutical establishment wanted to protect its money. Sense the eventions of gmo, or the concept of it, you can now put a patent on it and make money off of it. Everyone needs to know this.
