The Milwaukee tyre pumper thing is splendid. Set target and walk away, what thoughtfulness. Would be great for burst pressure testing inflatables…er…the pool kind.

Woah, thank you so much for making an overview video. Torn on over whether on not to get a treasure coast miata, and I couldn't find any videos, or any photos of the thing on an NC miata. Not a lot of content on yt for NC's and espcially 2.5 nc's, so great seeing your video. weirdly enough, also have a 2.5 swap marble white NC, and the same GT trim. maybe one day we can take sister photos haha.

Thanks! I’m not sure how the internet is still so lacking in NC Miata information after so many years. I will definitely be posting more NC content between the E24 project videos. It’s a fantastic little car and it brings me joy to go from being the only 2.5 NC out there on track a few years ago to being one of several. Can practically start our own 2.5 spec series at this point!

When the car was on skinnier tires, it was great. Really helped through higher speed turns and the gains were worth the few MPH lost on a couple of longer straights. But now that the car is running 255s, I think the mechanical grip has made the wing all but pointless, so it’s actually coming off within the next couple weeks.

I see you're running BC coilovers like me. BR or DS?. What spring rates? How do you like them? I feel mine have too much rebound damping and limited travel. Car feels very unsettled over negative bumps.

You have excellent timing. They were actually pulled off of the car a few days ago, and Ohlins are going on in their place. The BCs were fine-ish. But like you said, the rebound was jarring and without the rear wing on the car it would get extremely unsettled over all of the bumps at Sebring.

If you focus on weight reduction, why is the dashboard almost completely in still? Is this because you still want to use the airbags in it?
