Just found your channel. I'm planning on k swapping my nc miata in a couple of years, so I'll be following your build as I will also be working from my garage as well. I've watched the Speed Academy videos, but they were a little rushed, and like you guys, I don't have a shop with a lift and all that stuff. Great video! Are you really finding that 2.5 swaps with just cams and bolt on an are unreliable on track? I would completely understand for boosted applications but surprised to hear that with just cams

Please, please 1 up the Speed academy build by installing the type S oil pump, VTC gear and drag cartel drop in cams. This will put you in the 230-240whp range with power all the way to 8k+ rpms.

8k+ rpms on a k24 isn't going to make it very reliable on a road course with just those mods.
