Sir My father was working in PSU and joined it as Foreman (Supervisor). He became executive at the age of 57 years. However his salary from income was more than 8 lakhs in last 3 years of service. Now he is retired and income including pension is Rs. 6.3 lakh. Since, equivalence for posts is still pending in his PSU , Govt. under section 9 of office memoranda for OBC NCL determination is considering salary as source of income. There are many pending cases in several HCs to clarify confusion created by section 9 for PSUs. Kindly clarify whether I'm eligible for OBC NCL benefit. Thank you.

Sir, I was recruited under Exserviceman quota in BSNL in Group C post, getting salary from BSNL(psu) and getting Pension from Central Govt, both the salary and pension when added up then it exceeds 8 Lakh per year (approximately 9 lakhs), so in this condition my Son is eligible to get non creamy layer certificate / facility or not. NC OBC criteria for Government Employees is not based on income. It is based on grade. You are eligible for NC-OBC if your father was appointed as grade II at the time of joining, but did not become grade I before the age of 40.

Gaurav, I have mentioned in the video that salary is not considered for NC-OBC reservation. The Government mandate is in the description (It is clearly mentioned, I have highlighted it too). I cannot comment on the form as the form is different for each state. Also, I dont know your state and how the form looks like, so you have to take help of a lawyer or contact DM Office or Muncipal office for clarity regarding form filling.

Hi Prianka, NC OBC, and BC are different certificates. Now that you have got the BC certificate from your state, you can apply for an NC-OBC certificate. This may take 15 days to one month in most cases. I would suggest you go to www.iimcat.ac.in website and download the undertaking format from the right-hand bottom of the website and fill it and upload it. In the meanwhile apply for the NC-OBC certificate which you can carry for your interviews.
