NC250 Royal Enfields NW Scotland Roadtrip Pt 4, Torridon to Ullapool

Join us on the first Roadtrip this year on our royal Enfields,
4 bikes, 4 days, 3 nights camping weather permitting, and what would be an 800 mile trip as we ride the NW coast of Scotland, along some of the now signed NC 500, making a NC250 route with better routes forming a loop from Dalwhinnie to Perth - I do not have a PPX file of this route as planned on map and 30 years riding in Scotland., in some of the best roads and sights, and we will be riding other great roads less used by others away from the now famous and busy coastal route, returning home on the highest roads in the UK!...
In Pt 4 we ride up to Ullapool, amazing roads and views again, however rain clouds were gathering behind us!...

Hi Lance, you can see how so many Scots made new lives in Newfounland and for many the Highland Clearances was probably the best thing for the families that made the crossings and started a new life 😁🥃🥃

Never fail to impress Bruce, love it,love the country, spent quite a bit of my late teens and mid twenties in Scotland , used to go Ballachulish ferry and corran ferry on the way to strontian brilliant thanks again north west biker dude

Hi Bruce, KZbin ran an ad for raincoats in the lead in to your video, it was some ducks swimming in the pouring rain, and for a moment I thought you were being very clever. It was a hard day for my son Mikolaj after spending a sleepless night at -2 in the tent with his snoring dad. He mentioned that without heated clothes it would be hard to survive. After a short stop in Ullapool for breakfast, rain started pouring from the sky for the rest of our journey till Tounge campsite. Fortunately god was on our side and lend us a cosy cottage.😉

Evening Bruce..another great video mate scenery is amazing. Love the old landie...had a disco h reg .for towing caravan. With family. Pain in the butt cost a fortune. Welding etc BUT I LOVED IT. wish I got 110 est . But wife was with me at the garage. So it was disco 2.5 D . Thank you for the adventure. Roll on next one .....the old fella...

Hi Dave, so many folk have stories of their Landys! We grew up in a Series 3 Safari V8 my dad had for his job as Countryside Ranger 😁👍 and i was nearly born in the previous series 2a he had as late getting my mum to hospital! 🤣👍 More films on the way of the trip 😁👍 Cheers Bruce

Such great roads, drove Lochcarron hotel, to The Caley in Ullapool, stopped at Laide to visit Doug. It was a Sunday, and was wishing the starship enterprise could have beemed Bumble up, for the ride. (Heavy rain day before and day after, but Sunday was gorgeous) Doug given that petrol station much ££ this year……lol😊 Lucked out on the old Landrovers. Neil hadn’t opened the Caley bar, I noticed……lol

Bruce, been meaning to ask how the bike performs with the extra weight of the camping gear, planning my own wee trip across to Arran and Islay in June on my Classic, but not having loaded it up before, I wondered if you noticed any difference on your trip? Thanks Paul

Hi Paul i hardly noticed the weight much when loaded up, i did notice it once home and unpacked it felt a bit more sprightly! 👍😁 but it handled the weight no problem 👍😁
