I’m Scottish and have lived in the South West of Scotland all my life. I love to travel and have been lots of places in Europe and North America but I have never travelled in my own country! Watching your vids really makes me want to see more of my homeland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Can’t wait to see more.

Are you guys still on the road? Check out corrieshalloch gorge, just down from Ullapool,short walk with great views up and down the gorge, doesn’t take long to walk around. There is a public shower in torridon, park in youth hostel car park and you just walk down to it, literally seconds away. Couple of quid in the box and wash away 👍 Ps I liked the look of your brunch,I’m not vegan 🌱 or veggie but that did look pretty tasty 👍

I drove the exact route you are following in 1976 before NC500 was thought of and very few tourists went that far north. It was fantastic, I had been hoping to do it again in 2020 but hopefully soon.

The west is best from the road and the east is beautiful but you have to venture off the road to places like duncansby stacks and Sinclair girnigoe castle and peedie sands.

Get the ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway. Google the beaches of Lewis/Harris. The most famous is called Luskentyre 😍 loads and loads of other stunning beaches. Can get ferry to Isle of Skye from Harris as well. Trust me you would love Isle of Lewis/Harris and Skye.

Can't believe how quiet Smoo Cave was! I did the NC500 in between lockdowns last year and there was a queue to view inside the cave going all the way from the viewing platform to the bottom of the steps - we waited 45 mins and only got a glimpse for a minute or two!! Also really jealous you go to go to Cocoa Mountain...we ended up missing it and don't know how! Your videos are making me want to do the NC500 again cos we did it in like 5 days which is not enough time!!

Smugglers used to hide there apparently and there’s a story that someone tricked the devil in the cave and he got so angry he blasted through the top which is why there’s a hole in it. Scottish folklore is always fun.

Please don’t skip over the scenery and panoramic views. Maybe record the view out in front while driving and slow the camera down on the scenery shots. You always say how stunning the views are while you are on camera, but then we only get a glimpse of it.
