Something I've noticed that people might find useful is this. For some reason, it seems like decent-to-good centers get pursued REALLY hard by the CPU. I guess there are less of them overall and they come up as a need for CPU teams. You have a MUCH easier time going after guards/tackles and they almost ALWAYS either stay the same or go up 1-2 points when you move them to the Center position during position changes. So yeah... just grab an extra guard/tackle and pass on burying yourself on centers. Same thing seems to work (albeit a little less reliably) for FB/TE. FBs always seem to give me trouble. TEs not so much.

@@toofastfoyo3944 It seems viable. Just taking advantage of positions that are interchangeable in general is a good thing to be aware of. That, the squat cheese for gem linemen and the low-lock cheese is about all I know.

TOOFASTFOYO western mich, got a few 3 stars the first year in the MAC, went undefeated, moved to the big ten and I’m leading on two five stars and about 10 four and three stars, only in the second year

Do you usually fill your board your just about 20 recruits?

once I figure out guys that I will get, I pretty much don't want to waste any scholarships and you only get 25. So yea once i have like 20 guys that I know i'll get the board is a lot smaller

Do you have any better tips for 1 star schools when you don’t have anything except play time to promote?

pretty much for a 1 star school best things to look for are Proximity to home, playing time, and conference prestige and you can change your conference so i'd do that for sure, but if you could get a B or B+ in all 3 you should be solid for most cases! Also Coach Prestige will go up if you win a few games in a row pretty quickly

I noticed that you were only allocating enough points to most recruits so that you would be gaining ground in the race. So you don't really subscribe to the notion of pouring all 700 points into your top prospects until they sign?

Basically it depends on how many points each team is getting, and how interested they are in your school to start.

@@toofastfoyo3944 Do you have a point cutoff window that you don't even try to go after a recruit? Like if you're in a 1-1.5k point deficit and not gaining any ground, will you drop them?

Yes, I just avoid it because then you only get them for two years and I'd rather have a freshman that I can redshirt and possibly start 4

Don't scout guys that are 77 overall and above.. very rarely will they be below 70. Doesn't make sense to waste those points

After having the ability to fully scout players, I scout everyone on the board before adding recruiting points.

@@toofastfoyo3944 i was just saying as a general rule. Before using the points to scout players that are 77 and up, don't. Very rarely when they are busts does their overall drop more than 7 points....so if he's a 70 overall you'll probably take him anyway. It saves points

Yup I mentioned the bug in the video and I don't think it makes the game fun so I don't cheat the game by saving before offering
