If you notice a player has "N/A" for your school in the overview, DONT put ANY points into them that week. Any points you dump into someone with N/A for your school will be wasted and will not affect your ranking with the prospect. The following week when the "N/A" disappears, you can start dumping points.

Their bonus goes down when you offer them a scholarship because one of their three important pitchers or whatever is playing time and if you offer multiple scholarships to people at the same position, the grade for PT goes down and thus the bonus wont be as high

I found an Insta-commit cheese last year. You can offer as many scholarships to a single player in a single week by removing them from your board & adding them back on. So if you're a recruit's #1 school & you have Insta-commit, you can lock them up asap. In week 8 of my current dynasty, I already had 19 commits.

Cool video. One thing I never understand while watching you and some others on KZbin is why you don't focus more on the line, especially on your 5 year rebuilds. You can have the greatest receivers in the world but if your QB has no time to throw then it doesn't matter. However, a terrific O-line can make even the most average of QBs look great by giving him all day to throw.

I play as Washington and I'll tell everyone how I go about recruiting (I keep auto save turned off) So how I recruit is I scout every player that is 3 stars and higher from the western part of American (ever state left of and including New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana) as well as Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. I do not scout every player from California due to how big the state is. After I scout the players by states individually I rearranged the recruiting board by overall rating, than I take a picture of the top of that list if they are players above 75 overall. I than i quit out of dynasty without saving and load back in, that way I save my pre season scouting points. I than only put back the players above 75 on my board and move on to the next state, after doing that with said states and making sure I have recruits in every position than I do a final scout before starting the season. When I have recruits that has my school at the top of their interest I do the insta commit cheese (give scholarship, if no commit than quit out of dynasty and load back in, rinse and repeat until they commit) I also do the low lock cheese as well. I never really go after WRs (unless they are in the 80's) because you can easily get really good athletes that can play WR. Per recruiting class I also try and get 2 players for positions that have multiple people on the field (WRs, O line, D line, CBs) excluding TEs and centers. I try not to get Juco players unless i absolutely need to. I redshirt every player unless I cant because how few players I have in positions (normally TEs, FBs, punters, and kickers). i normally go after athletes 78 and above, there are so many athletes that it shouldn't be hard to find athletes that good. I will recruit athletes lower than 78 overall sometimes if they are tall and can play WR or DB.

I saw a cheese for the Insta Commit . It works when u are number 1 on their board . Don’t offer a scholarship til u are number one . And then when u are number 1 on any recruit. Offer them a scholarship, if they don’t commit, take em off ur recruit board , and go back and search for them and add them back onto ur board and offer them a scholarship again , rinse and repeat til they commit. It helps in the earlier weeks when u have multiple recruits u are looking at but can’t spare the points to claim all of em .

To max insta-commit chances you have to wait to be at the top of a players board, if you are ranked really low it doesn't work.

A tip for every one who doesn't care about using some real cheese: The game does not quicksave when you offer a scholarship, only when you leave the recruiting menu. So if you have insta commit and the players dont sign, you close the game immediately without leaving the recruiting board. You can do this as often as you want until the recruit commits. When he does you leave the recruiting menu and the game saves, so you have the guy you want and then you can go for the next one. Keep in mind to only hunt one recruit each time so the game does not save uncommitted player with a scholarship offer. "Little" cheesy and boring but it works. So just that you guys know this way of doing it xD

You can just turn off auto save and quit out of dynasty. its alot faster than closing out of the game completely, and all you have to do is wait for your roster to load before going back into the dynasty menu and your good. I also do this for pre season scouting so I can have everyone I want before starting the season. My game has frozen many of times trying to load back into dynasty menu while my roster was loading.

Position Priority. Posession receivers are a dime a dozen leave them until late in the season. Prioritize OLineman, MLB, and Receiving TE early in the season. Another way to get MLBs is to find OLBs that are gems and move them to the middle.

Depending on how hard they are being pursued, if they are low locks with no scholarships than they 200 would be fine. There used to be a dlc (reports) which allowed you to see each school's recruiting board and how much points they were using on each recruit.

The "Squat Cheese" was a new one for me. I've been doing the rest. But what gets me is, the game wants you to schedule late for more recruiting points but then you lose recruits doing the process. If you schedule early then imo you have a better chance after the original schedule date for the recruits to sign. So my question to EVERYBODY, what's best, to schedule EARLY or LATER?? In my experience you need to keep in mind the players lock % when trying to decide when to schedule a visit. If a player is close to locked and you are on the bubble, then schedule them as soon as you can. Also try to max out royal treatment as quickly as you can. It goes along way towards giving you more flexibility in when you can schedule visits.

Strangely, I found that squat cheese works decently well with identifying gems at all positions except QB and finding skill position ATHs (obviously). With some positions like tight end, cornerback, and wide receiver, you should check for the best combo of 40 yard dash and squats (bench as well for tight ends)

Probably hard copy from a shopping website or hard copy from gamestop if you're lucky, the digital copies for 12-14 were taken off the xbox market place for 360 awhile ago (dont know about ps3 though) I've bought hard copies of original xbox games off Amazon and they all worked.
