ESPN Videogames and 2K Sports actually had a short, but successful college basketball series. It started with NCAA College Basketball 2K3 (2002) and ended after College Hoops 2K8 (2007).

The gap between the ps2 and Xbox was so massive. Especially when you compare the Xbox gameplay to the two ps2 gameplays after it. That thing was such a power house of it's time

@General Coma Well aware of that. Was speaking in reference to Live as well since Live 10 and NCAA Basketball 10 both used the same engines. Also, the whole lawsuit didn't affect NCAA games until 2014, meaning EA could've made at least 4 more games (NCAA Basketball 10 was the last in series while Football games were all the way up until the NCAA Football 14 which is when the lawsuit took affect) for each basketball franchise had they stayed the course. If EA would've just built off the progress of those games Live might actually be a relevant basketball title at this current moment in time.

I enjoy playing all them college basketball games i missed em very much. As years going by during their making of college basketball games they got better and better specially with the broadcast of commentators mostly i always enjoy hearing dick vitale screaming excitement and loves the word "baby" lol as for brad nessler he always been a commentator in football and parts of basketball but those were the days of playing those games i love it.

MM 98 and 99 were it for me. MM 2k was awful. You could score 80 points in a game with any decent guard. Then I got a Dreamcast for NBA2k and it was over for the MM series being playable.

Greg Oden was on the cover of 2k8, one of the best, if not THE BEST, college basketball games ever. Do yourself a favor and google it. And there was no college live game.
