I can’t put into words how excited I am for cfb 25. I haven’t been this pumped for something in quite a while I guess since red dead 2 came out but even then I wasn’t as hyped. Ncaa 04, 07, and 10 were my childhood. I’m 27 now but me and my buddies sound like little school girls when talking about this game we’ve all got the week off work and pretty much get to be teenagers again for a week after it comes out and I just can’t wait to recapture that feeling

Dude same. I was a kid when I played NCAA14 last, after starting on 08. Now I’m actually going to LSU (not at all where I expected or would’ve picked when I played these games) on the GI Bill. And I haven’t been this hyped for a video game since I was a teenager. I keep watching these videos to help pass the time. College football is the best sport there is so it deserves this game. This is gonna be awesome.

Thanks for the details! I'm a big college football fan and a big gamer... but despite having the hardware to do so the only football games I play is NFL Blitz. Why? Because Madden has gotten such unanimous hatred and I don't want crap. I certainly do not trust EA and that's why I have not pre-ordered the game and will wait. I know that a lot of people's expectations will be off the charts and people will want to focus on various elements and may wind up being disappointed in lack of perfection. What I want (and what I bet others want) is simple... a FUN, stable game. Getting the difficulty right is a key component. The best difficulty is one where your games are close (assuming teams are equal) even if you aren't a master. I should be able to play a quick game of Georgia vs Ohio State and the game should be a close one even with me calling basic plays. If I throw 10 interceptions then I'm not going to continue playing. I should be able to play as my Georgia Bulldogs against a crappy team and destroy them. PLEASE EA make it FUN. I don't care if there are graphical glitches, just make something that gets good reviews and people play for a long time. I don't want to hear that CF25 is abandoned in a buggy state so they can work on CF26. That whole yearly thing really killed the quality in Madden.

Those old versions on the ps1 (‘99-‘01) included an option, in dynasty mode, to have a post season playoff instead of just bowl games. And, they even tied in the bowl games with the playoff system nicely. Obviously CFB 25 offers a playoff system, but I wish I had the option to completely do away with bowl games, and have a bigger playoff bracket, similar to college basketball.

He missed on 2009. McFadden was on Xbox 360, Matt Ryan PS3, & Desean Jackson on PS2….. Also, 2005 was the most critical & best game for its time. Either 05 or 09. 08 was meh cause it was right when PS3 came out.

My favorite was NCAA 06 and 07. In 07 you actually had to take exams, it was really fun. Also, we cant forget about importing you character into Madden 06 from NFL Streets 2 and NCAA 06. NCAA 08 was a decent game too.

@@TheOmengod apparently my reply didn’t go out but i’ll type up the gist of it . i understand everybody’s thought process but they’ve been working on this since 2020 . 4 years . they’ve done nearly everything possible to differentiate a football game that they can . it is EA so i again understand everybody’s thought process but they’ve college development team was always more passionate about the product they were making than the NFL development team . they next couple games i will understand being called reskins or roster updates simply because four years of development changing to one won’t allow as much time for changes so they can’t really do so much , im just trying to explain my own personal thought process towards this , that’s all .
