Madden 24 isn't the worst madden game, what made it suck was the fucking lack of quality control to ensure that menu's would load better and menu organization as well. Other than that, it's significantly better than Madden 18-23 in terms of gameplay and at least having some depth. Still not worth $70 but not the worst.

Joe, from a former Fifa sufferer. This is the exact same as the games EA bring out between Fifa entries for big tournaments (often at full price). They have released one for every soccer world cup and they used to do it for european championships also. It is literally a roster update and a lick of paint, and this will be the same. 1000%.

I got the PS2 hard drive just for that reason (highlight show). Although the graphics look dated, the highlight reel with Len Berman calling the plays on 2K5 is still incredibly fun to watch. Plus the gameplay is so fluid. Mind-blowing isnt it that Madden still doesnt have this and has half assed highlights? I still pine for another 2K game although EA made sure to squash that from ever happening..........they should be worried because it was so good.

I think thats because this NCAA team has no incentive to release on PC. Its a "new" team that smaller and the numbers of prior NCAA 07-14 dont support the value of releasing on PC and dealing with the headaches that come with that. Hell, last year there were players modding files to have max stat teams and the "bigger" Madden team took months to figure it out and ban some of those accounts. With the smaller team, I think not having representative numbers for interest on PC and having to deal with that warrants a release on PC either. With PS5 (maybe XBOX as well, Im not sure) if file manipulation is detected Sony just bans your entire profile, no more games PSN access etc. That makes it easier to deter people messing with other peoples experience online that doesnt take this smaller studio more time and resources to deal with.

It feels to me that they are going all out on this first one so that people buy it and it gets good reviews. Then over time they'll get lazy and put in less and less content and charge full price like they do with Madden. But they need this game to have a lot of features so that they are pretty much guaranteed sales on this game and next years. It'll probably take a few years of the same copy paste formula before people get angry like they do with Madden. But let's be honest, this game could be complete garbage and it will make Billions anyway. The Ultimate team players that whale every year on these games are what ruins them.
