Same with Adley Rutchman play the college World Series and then 4 years later come to the MLB great to see both these amazing players play the college World Series then come to the MLB 4-6 years after. I'm a hog fan and I don't feel sorry for anyone at all. This is baseball, there is not crying in baseball! My hogs just choked when it mattered most just like they've done all my life in every sport. Except for 1994 when the basketball team won it all. But even then, we were 20-30 points better than Duke and showed up with our worst game and almost got beat that night with a superior team to Duke. Bottom line, yes Arkansas should have caught the ball and won the game but they didn't. Oregon State made them pay the ultimate price which great teams do. You give a team like the Beavers a second chance and you are BEAT! And what about game 3? Arkansas didn't even show up. Their hitting went completely in the tank and it was over. When the trophy was on the line, Oregon state took it and Arkansas just ran away.

What a crushing blow this must still be for ‘Hogs fans. They basically had this game won ... then not. Would be awesome if NCAA could have full-length or condensed games/matches during the season - in different sports. Obviously not happening. Too segmented the financial interests - read: conferences.

The announcers and the home plate ump gave Jones a free hit,free play whatever you wanna call that whatever the hell that was. He may have pulled sumn loose hitting that pitch that was high inside,however still a good pitch. Definitely in the box. The announcers said thier two or three times,eww Jones didn’t flinch & took that ball off the chin. Seriously? Hell, I don’t Jones or anyone else would’ve continued batting being hit with 70 + mph baseball. ⚾️ still can’t understand why Arkansas’s head coach didn’t go to the tape on that play. Not so much the home plate camera,the camera looking from first base to home plate clearly shows contact was made with the baseball bat only.
