As a Briton, today is the first day that I realized that Louie is British!. Winning this title has got his name in to the British sporting headlines for the first time this morning. Can't wait to see him in this years British Olympic trials.

Next for Louie, the British Olympic trials and a great showdown with Zharnel Hughes. then hopefully a place in the Team GB squad. Get him on the last leg of the relay.
@NathanEall7 ай бұрын
Also Jeremiah Azu is another challenge for him, as he’s ran 9.97 the other week! But I would like to see Louie on last leg, at least in the first round, due to his top speed. As the past anchor Prescod is kind of inconsistent but he’s tan 9.93 in the past, and NMB hasn’t returned to his 2017 form yet (9.99). Ideally it’s be Azu, Hughes, Kilty/Amo-dadzie, then Hinchcliffe/Prescod.

A lot of folks didn't really know who LH was until these championships. Well, he transferred to Houston from Washington State University. So he never left being a Cougar, he just went from WSU to U of Houston! Louie made a lot of improvement over the last 2 years. I saw him at the Mt. SAC Relays in 2022 where he came up short, but here he put it all together.
