That's a really nice build. Thanks for posting such a detailed build video. Building in the M1 requires careful planning to reduce the amount of removing and reinstalling. You made good use of the long space at the bottom between the fans and the motherboard panel to store the extra lengths of the front I/O cables. I recommend plugging them in and getting them organized before inserting the graphics card. Thanks again and good luck with your new system!

Very nice build. I am contemplating on moving my tu150 into this case. I love the tu150 compared to my old atx build but this case is even smaller and I have really fallen in love with smaller PCs these days.

Awesome video man. Cable management tip if you don't need your front I/O, remove it with the included bracket and just have the power button there. Gets rid of SOOO much clutter. That and custom length psu cables.

Hey @Subdubbin, i can recommend to take a AiO with only one cable going out (CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240 RGB). It has only one 3-Pin Cable going out from Pump ;-) Less Cable = More AirFlow = looks better ;-) + Its very quiet, too!

Why the radiator is mounted with the hose facing the back and not the front ?
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
There is more room for the tubes in the back of the case (by the motherboard). The tubes rub up against the power supply when the radiator tubes are mounted in the front of the case (by the PSU)

I'm actually looking at this exact cooling config for the M1. I'm curious, what are your CPU and GPU temps under load?
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
CPU maxes out at around 80°C during Cinebench R20 multi-threaded. It stays at 72°C during gaming on Forza 7. Could be better. GPU maxes out at around 72°C when gaming on Forza 7.

Hi, how do you like the Ncase over the SM580? I am trying to decide between those two cases and see that you have built-in both, so I would appreciate your input!
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
The Ncase is an incredibly designed case considering how much different hardware you can get in it for the small size. If you're into sandwich-style cases, then the SM580 is one of the best. It's tough to choose between the two as I really enjoyed building in them both. Components run cooler in the SM580 so that's a plus.

My newest build is also an nCase M1 - I still consider myself fairly novice so I wanted to ask about the fan config. :) So you have the bottom two slim Noctua fans as intake, PSU is exhausting out the side, and finally the fans on the AIO are exhaust as well, correct? I am using an all Noctua setup with two intake A12s at the bottom, a NH-U9S CPU cooler, and an A9 as back exhaust. Works well for me so far.
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
Bottom slim fans are intake, side radiator fans are intake.
@Shamii4 жыл бұрын
@@Subdubbin ah, that makes sense. I've never used an AIO before but I guess putting exhaust fans on it would just fry the thing?
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
@@Shamii it just runs a little hotter as exhaust. I followed Optimum Tech's advice on fan configuration. I tried it other ways and intake ran the coolest.

Is your GPU’s height/thickness around 45mm?? If so, it’s barely fit with shroud and 15mm fans. I’ve gigabyte windforce 2080 ti which I believe around 40mm height, probably I should considering return my 2 noctua 25mm fans for 15mm fans
@Subdubbin4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how thick it is. EVGA calls it a 2.75 slot card. I would get 15mm fans just to play it safe if I were you.

There's a thread on reddit with someone who managed to fit the 3080 TUF in the M1. He said that you need to remove the front IO on the case in order to fit the card, but the front IO could be installed after fitting the GPU - the added bonus was that the IO installation helped with GPU sagging. (screw for IO: 2 on front plate and rest beneath the front feet). You can read more, and see a few pictures here: www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/j7aj7j/stock_asus_tuf_rtx_3080_fits_in_an_ncase_m1_with/
