The whole show was excellent in execution and song selection. It sets a high bar for the band itself and the rest of the HBCU community this season. An excellent arrangement of “You Outta Know” shows incredible sophistication by taking a breakup song and turning it into a pleasurable listening experience. Not even PWI schools would think of choosing that song for a show. Sure, the 90s are in vogue right now, but there’s much more well known material that could have been chosen. I’m glad I’m not the only black guy who secretly enjoys “Jagged Little Pill.” “Touch” was a surprise favorite. I’d rather listen to this arrangement than the original song. My favorite moment in the song was the background horns towards the end of the drum break. Those are the kinds of nuggets band folks live to enjoy. It really is about the little things in an arrangement. But this band’s calling card is definitely “Lucid Dreams.” What a sound!! What an ending! What an arrangement! The song is melancholy and yet here it sounds triumphant! This right here would blow any BOTB rivals out of the water. This is the kind of field show that you come back to listen more times than you’d care to admit because it’s so darn good. My hats off to everyone involved in designing this show and the band itself for pulling it off.

Everytime I hear Lucid Dreams I Get Chills .... sounds so clean and it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 BGMM ....2018 band has definitely have the clean factor going on and I love it....AGGIEEEE PRIDEEEEE .........always and forever CCCCOOOOLLLDDDDDD STTTEEELLLLLLLL 🔥🔥🔥🔥
