I always enjoy watching and listening to this AWESOME Marching band. One can hear the African Rhythms . Their drum beats are so similar to those of the marching band that I played many years ago in the 1960's when I was a high school student in East Orange NJ. Musicianship especially percussion, can reflect the region of the world one comes from. Years ago, East Orange NJ and the other Oranges were a community of families from North Carolina and Virginia.

Question…. When did they start playing that last cadence? Cause that’s a piece of a JSU cadence….
@Tubastein12 жыл бұрын
If youre talking about the very last cadence, its called Star Wars and everybody and their grandma has played it including some pwc's because it came from a disco record. A&T been playin it since the 70's

How old is that first cadence?
@derrickburwell77773 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how old it is, but I grew up listening to/playing the first two cadences, and the last one, in the 70's. There are some changes to them, but the snare parts are essentially the same. 👍🏾
