North Carolina Central University is a Historically Black College or University(HBCU). The student population is open to try out for the Band and Auxiliary. I would guess many of the Caucasian students are local residents or commute and not students living on campus. Other HBCU’s with a broader Major(studies) selection seem to have more participation from other Ethnic groups in their Marching Bands in my opinion. Hope this helps your understanding. Well they're not the KYOTO TACHIBANA HS BAND.They l looked like a pimps exibiting their girls.Girls looked good in those short shorts,but if u want to see a descent band look up the KYOTO TACHIBANA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BAND
