Thank you so much for making these videos! I have been really struggling with TEG especially with my teacher going over the concepts so quickly and brief. I have learnt so much from your videos and i find it so much easier to learn this way where i can pause and go back if i`m struggling with something. I feel a lot more prepared for tuesday now!

15:45 but I thought the difference between 100 and 66.66 is 33.34? Why is it 33.33 am I missing something here??

Thanks Subash, it's good to still hear your voice, and great explanation.

I was taught that a = y-intercept i.e. the 0th term, but that doesn't seem to work with these questions.
@infinityplusone4 жыл бұрын
Not if the graphs are moved up. That only works if there is no movement up or down

@@infinityplusone ahh, that makes sense, thank you :)

In the Exam does it matter if we use y = a*r^x + c or if we use y= r^(x-a)+c
@infinityplusone5 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't matter which you use :)

@@infinityplusone I mean You know How In general You substitute Two Points and put into a simultaneous eqaution to find c and a rigght? Nvmmm LOL it's hard to explain Dw Ty for the video

Will this method of converting table to equation work for all exponentials?
@infinityplusone5 жыл бұрын
Theoretically it should work :)

These videos are great! Thank you so much for making them! I thought I was prepared for this exam but there are some huge gaps in my knowledge that the textbook I'm using just doesn't cover so this is amazing. One thing I'm confused about is how you would find an exponential equation for a graph that has been translated horizontally? How would you find the number to add to or subtract from the exponent, x?
@chris29446 жыл бұрын
If it's horizontally, saying youre moving the graph 2^x 2 units right, it's 2^(x-2), but if you're moving it 2 units up, it's (2^x) +2. He has other videos that will help.
